The Finance Committee is composed of nine voting members and up to three associate members, all of whom are appointed by the Town Moderator.

The Finance Committee reviews budgets (Municipality, Minuteman Tech, Public & Regional Schools) and make recommendations to the Board of Selectman and the School Committee, as appropriate, and present the Committee's assessment to the Annual Town Meeting. The Finance Committee also issues an opinion on each of the Warrant articles presented to the Town Meeting.
